I See You...

I See You..., originally uploaded by Design.Her.

Photo that I took [and mike was captured in] of Constantin Brancusi’s La NĂ©gresse blonde (The Blond Negress). The SFMOMA blog Open Space has featured this, along with several other photos of this piece.

Along with being really excited to see one of my photos on SFMOMA's blog, I have been learning a very important lesson in patience. Taking a short hiatus from the D90,  I started shooting with the Minolta last week and dropped off my first roll of film [since the '90's] yesterday! With an unflappable sense of calm, I wait...

LIES! I am so anxious!! I just really hope I don't get a call saying, "Um... there's nothing on this roll."

Monday in Review

Parametric Shadow, originally uploaded by Design.Her.

This semester, our final architecture studio is concentrating on designing a sculpture museum to be retrofitted into an old rail yard building in a historic part of the city. After little sleep, and long hours staring at the computer, I don't even want to think about anything related to either architecture or sculpture.  However... I wouldn't mind taking a seat in this nice chair from the SFMoMA.  Pretty, pretty, parametric.
