Meadow in the Mornin'

Headed to the Sandia Mountains, yet again, and frolicked in a meadow lying off the road. It was a sweet little spot with wild iris, spindly aspen, and charming birds.  It was an absolutely beautiful morning to be in the mountains.

Daddy Long Legs

Traveled up to the Sandia Crest with Mike to catch the sunset and take some photos. At almost 11,000 feet in elevation, it's usually pretty chilly compared to the valley below. However, this day we were able to get away with shorts and t-shirts. We're tough :P

Mike got some pretty nice shots that I hope he uploads to his flickr photostream. I, on the other hand, had a flash with dead batteries and I wasn't nearly as brave to crawl out onto the edge of the mountain. This is one of the more tame examples of the leg sprawl.
